Gandhare Rifle flip up sight cannot be used, but there is a solution

Hello.
I fired up theHunter: CotW and started out in New England Mountains. I decided to add the Gandhare Rifle to my loadout to replace my 7mm Magnum.

At first I didn't notice anything, but then I decided to use the flip up sight, but I kept hitting the scope keybind I have on my mouse and it didn't work.

At first I thought maybe the keybind had been deleted as that has happened in the past, but it worked with the other weapons. I tried several things like changing reserve, logging out to main menu, exiting to desktop.
It didn't work.

There is a solution to the problem though. I noticed that if you change the zeroing on the rifle the flip up sight suddenly works again.
So I don't know what causes the bug, but I can at least put out the solution that worked for me.

I'm sorry to hear you encountered trouble with the Gandhare Rifle's ladder sight. I understand this can be confusing.

Please be informed that due to the characteristics of this sight, it is intended to only work when the Zeroing perk is set as active. When this is the case, the sight should go up when you press the Toggle Scope key or press the Use Skill key to change the zeroing.

I always have the zeroing perk active, it's my bread and butter. It's just that it appears the zeroing perk sometimes doesn't automatically activate, I E the box where the range is supposed to be is black and empty.
