I will say, I’d rather have Armadillo or another duck species over marsh rabbit and porcupine on NEM at the VERY least.

It'd be interesting to see species such as squirrels or other similar small game added. I could see why it would be difficult, coding in the trees they climb as well as seeing something so small and fast moving. That can only add to the frustration of trying to obtain every animal especially in a Gold plus set of mounts.

Sheep and other medium game would be perfect and much easier to place in game. So many of these areas are missing a lot of their animals so this would bring everything full circle. I'm all for these additions, It would definitely help Pad out the existing Trophy lodges so you're not getting a lot of duplicate animals as your only option. As well as adding a little more realism too The animals in these regions with The added variety.

And yes, there are elk in New England as they are apart of the Appalachian Elk reintroduction program where hunting is conducted, very low draw which doesn’t matter because we have tigers.

# azure river Which New England states are they in?

I did just read that they did reintroduce elk to New Hampshire (the main state that NEM was based on) but due to crop damage they were hunted and now apparently only exist on game farms and that was all in the early 1900s

Yeah, that hardly feels like justification for including them on NEM. Truth is that the big game in New England isn't unique: whitetail, black bear, moose.

To set NEM's fauna apart they'd need to focus on small game. Ideally I'd swap bobwhite (not found in NH) and pheasant (annually released but no breeding population) for ruffed grouse and woodcock. I'd also send the gray fox (present but not a ton of them) to Rancho to make room for a fisher (and add red fox to MAP to make it the double fox reserve).

I don’t mind having a fox species on New England, but I do agree that it should focus hard on its small game if any new species are too be added

Alongside Fisher, Ruffed Grouse and Woodcock, a couple other species I wouldn’t mind seeing include
• American Beaver
• Wood Ducks and Grey Squirrels would be good additions for both NEM & Mississippi

Also, now that I think about it you could also add both Canadian Lynx and bobcat for Layton Lake District, and SRP! (maybe Red Fox and Gray Fox two for Layton) + Coyote For Yukon Valley (Western Half of Yukon)
