In my opinion, the game, at its current stage, offers limited possibilities for bird hunting, but it shows great potential. I think by adding just a few things, the bird hunting in *COTW * could be greatly improved.
My suggestion is to first add a clay pigeon range. This would allow anyone to train their aim on birds, even when they either don't have the time or don’t want to wait for packs of ducks to pass by. I can say for myself that I would personally use this a lot. I like the bird part of the game, but there is room for new features.
A clay pigeon range would include:
- Realistic hunting angles
- Sporting clays
- Ability to customize speed and shoot doubles
- Multiplayer competitions
- And so on.
Pigeon and Dove Hunt.
Furthermore, it would be extremely fun to stand in the middle or in the corner of a field and shoot pigeons/doves flying by, over you, and from all angles. This would really challenge your ability to calculate your aim on the birds and would be extremely fun both in single-player and multiplayer. The retriever would also be perfect for this.
New Shotguns
The number of shotguns in the game currently is quite limited. I think adding new shotguns would create more realistic hunting experiences. The new shotguns could include semi-autos in .410 and 12 gauge, and a new over-under shotgun.
This is my suggestion, and I believe it would add a lot to the game. I hope you’ll consider adding this. Thanks.
