I have no clue why but it does seems like a one off thing, but I had this bird stuck on the ground even if it said fleeing. It is not lag since this was in single player and I was able to harvest it after. (Point black 10ga) I did try to scare it away but shooting beside it and nothing but balls of steel. Not complaining just curious if it also happens to others.

Usually i have this happen with caribou on yukon. Everything else seems to not exist anywhere

The first time it happened to me was with elk in 2019, it had been around for a very, very long time
