Just as a possible event to celebrate Halloween with a little influence from Classic.

Werewolves would be awesome but I can imagine they'd be very difficult to get working.

So, Dire Wolves. Yukon, Medved and Layton Lakes are good maps for them and I could see what would essentially black bear sized Wolves running around as extremely fun hunts.

Aside from that we have the option of adding an absolute monster of a handgun to our line up. The .308 Wolfsbane straight from Classic, as a community reward. It would be like the Cuomo and Jernberg pistols but .308 caliber and incredible looking.

Maybe also some skins for the other weapons too?

🐺 [ - PLEASE READ - ] :

Due to a series of unexplained occurrences of missing bow hunters and hikers, events; “Birdwatching,” “Fishing,” “Hiking,” “Camping,” “Glamping,” and “Bow season” have been postponed until these issues have been addressed.

(Update also will be posted daily on the reserve’s website.)

Thank you very much for your patience,

Since we're getting scope customization how about a special scope that just fits this one pistol? Same colors as the pistol itself but the lense has a visible crack when you're aiming and scratches on the tube?

Maybe it survived an encounter that a less than lucky hunter didn't?

Would like to see em a bit more true to life after all giant jackals would be spooky ( the dire “wolves” are the orange ones)

And those teeth really are robust compared to gray wolves!

(Inspired by MedVed’s “Chuchunya” mission and by “Curse of Layton Lake”). This is just a wild idea of mine I wanted to share. Enjoy!

This mission takes place on the Askiy Ridge Hunting Preserve. The moon has started to appear a deep crimson more and more, and the wolves’ population has increased exponentially… seemingly empowered. On top of that, hunters started going missing. It is your job to track down and find these missing hunters so the warden can alert authorities for rescue… however, all you find is blood.

Many trails of blood.

And they’re all human.

**KEY DETAILS**

- Wolf appearances increase at night, are much more aggressive and will track the player for a longer distance; making it much more dangerous to investigate.

- During the mission, the player tracks human footprints and blood trails accompanying said footprints. No living hunters will be found, mostly remnants such as left behind pieces of fabric or other small evidences. The player moves on at the warden’s discretion after fairly large wolf tracks are found near a visible pile of snow with “vital blood” tracks around it. “Wolves… big ones. We have to take them out before they can hurt anyone else.”

- The middle of the mission harbors a pack of wolves (5) that appear much more hostile than the typical grey wolf, and a battle ensues where the player must take out the entire pack. These wolves move slightly faster and try to surround the player. “What’s wrong with them…? Why are they acting so bizarre?”

- After the wolves are slain, the mission continues with the player attempting to locate the source of the wolves’ aggressive behavior. After finding no source, the player discovers the corpse of an elk. An elk left intact, but whatever animal killed it seemed uninterested in food. There are larger paw print tracks around this elk corpse… “It looks fresh. We must be getting close.”

- As the player continues, the player will end the mission with one final battle, as the moon reaches its most red color and begins to fade afterwards, staining the snow red.

A lone, very big black and white wolf with unnaturally orange eyes. No pack, no visible association, and completely damn feral; and the wolf that was killing all of those missing hunters. The player has to make two well-placed shots on vitals on this particular wolf; however, miss a vital and it will attack. Shoot too much and it will attack. If the player is “knocked out” by this wolf and sent back to their outpost, they must track down the wolf and try again. As dawn rises and the moon settles, and the player successfully kills this particular wolf; the mission concludes with high reward, and a trophy wolf of course. *The wolf would have a drink time, but its drink time will be separate from the normal wolf drink time and be individual for every player; meaning no two missions are the same, adding difficulty and preventing players from giving each other hints. Much like the “mocha moose”, this wolf will only be obtainable via this mission with a coat titled “Ghost” (1st image) It has a larger size but there’s no physical changes to its model.*
