First noticed this problem on the new map while constructing a stand (vanilla stand and not from my own equipment) This happened a few times and the only way to fix was to log to menu and reload. Not a big issue if your close to an outpost or have a tent on you. However if you don't and your way out in the sticks can be frustrating. It also happened while progressing the tiger attack mission after ID'ing the canine. /shrug

Thanks for getting back to me. Since the original post I went and built all stands and discovered all outposts and watchtowers. The issue did occur but not all the time, so figured it best to build and discover as many as possible so not to be plagued again. So far so good but will try and make a recording if it rears its ugly head again (during a mission maybe).
