Eh, if they did add Anacondas (assuming it’s the Green Anaconda), they’d probably be class 4 or 5. They’re huge, but not overly tough if you get a brain shot.

Well they weigh approximately 250 kilograms for a large female, so let’s say 270 kilograms or so would be max weight in game. If we’re going based on weight, they’d probably be a class 6/7.

Im not a zoologist or herpatologist. Regardless if its weight or “toughness” a brain shot will put down all animals in the game. It was just an idea. Or we could have small snakes. Give an actual use for the 410 revolver 🙄

Agreed, something like Cottonmouths or Copperheads on Mississippi Acres or Western Diamondback Rattlesnakes on Rancho would be nice.

As cool as monkeys would be, I don't see the investment of time in animating them being one that EW would likely take up. How about Maned Wolves, Bush Dogs, Greater Rhea (could be reworked for ostriches and/or emus)? Or wrong area for what you have in mind?

I doubt they’d put them in trees, but they could always kinda do what they did with raccoons. Mostly arboreal animals that are basically only ground dwelling in game.

Yes, and eating animations are complex, as are idle animations, as compared to quadrupeds. Of course this is all possible, but it is an awful lot of work too. But they've done others "specials" like tigers and crocodiles, but unlike those, a Class 2 primate is not exactly a show-stopper IMO. But as I said, they would be cool.

I’ve thought many times about the addition of snakes to the game and I’ve come to the conclusion they are A. Too hard to implement and B. Would be way too hard and annoying to hunt.

Well Idk about implementing them but as far as difficulty, I would welcome more aspects of difficulty on new maps. Sundarpatan has some new challenges that are unique to it such as low visibility, relatively close quarter hunting in the lowlands, and the stalking function from Tigers. I think the community could handle the difficulty snakes would bring, and honestly, making a map that wasn't for beginners sounds amazing to me. Also they could make them VERY rare save for certain areas so if hated them, you most likely wouldn't come into contact. I think it would be a lot of fun. Especially a zone with a lot of knee deep swampy water that you could walk through. Watching for a snake creeping or hiding. I don't think their mechanics would be much different from crocs. I hope this happens haha

I’d say they do but honestly, they don’t unless they’re fighting something. If there’s no fight animation between them and a caiman or a jaguar they really wouldn’t have that awe factor.

There is a difference between ducks and snakes. A lot of people actively hunt for ducks and are considered game animals in many areas. Snakes…..not so much

wingshooting is significantly different from and much more difficult than just walking around whatever environment until you find a nope rope and then use a machete to hack its head off
