why we SHOULDN'T have elephants and other HUGE game

Let's talk about the elephant in the room, the lack of elephants. And here's why that's a good thing

1. Elephants, giraffes, and other MASSIVE animals would be too large. A whole new system for lodges would have to be implemented to even accommodate for the size of these beasts.
2. The animal classing and scoring systems would need a complete overhaul or massive rework to accommodate the HUMONGOUS creatures. A rework of this size would absolutely take too long to make it worthwhile.
3. Even more work would be demanded from the devs just for whole new weapons. There are currently no weapons in the game that would make a grown elephant even flinch. And while, yes, it would be cool to see these awesome weapons, they are too impractical for anything else.

Plus IRL .303 british, .30-06, and basically every other popular late 19th to early 20th century .30 caliber rifle cartridge were used to reliably fell adult bulls with brain shots through the temple.

1st. They are aware of it as they themselves said that, and they are working on the lodge issue before implementing elephants and such because they do in fact want to implement this animals.

2nd. No need to overhaul the animal classing or scoring system to accommodate for them, because they will have their own class, a class 10 with a new weapon added with the map, also class 10 added to older weapons ... 470 could be class 9-10

3rd. 700 Nitro could be the class 9-10 weapon introduced to the game with the Africa 2.0 DLC. and few months later we can get a weapon DLC pack with class 9-10 guns or once again, class 10 can be added to few older weapons.
The class 9-10 weapons are impractical for anything else because they aren't for anything else.

I get your point however its a moot one. We are long due for a new lodge and its likely still in the works to accommodate class 10 game. Also a good number of calibers are rated from 7-10 game irl anyway like the 375H&H. •No I'm on console so it takes forever bc my pc is outdated.
