My friend is unable to join my multiplayer lobby. An error pops up and says “connected timed out” We were playing fine yesterday. On top of this. He uninstalled the game entirely. reinstalled it. and was able to join me. but we when went to switch reserves the same error occurred and he longer can join me. Any idea on how to fix, or is this happening to anyone else? Xbox servers btw

Please note that all multiplayer instances of the game are peer-to-peer, meaning that the connection only takes place between your console and other players' consoles, and any connection issues are a result of problems or differences between your and other players' network connections and configurations.

Ok! Thanks for this. The one thing i’m struggling to understand is why it sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. His NAT type is strict, and mine is moderate. how are we able to join sometimes but not other times
