Hi there i need help on the third part of this mission because when I took my shot on it i was lined up on a lung shot but right when i pulled the trigger my connection dropped for a second and i had the logged out log in sign in the middle of the screen. when the sign vanished the shot had gone off and turned out i missed all organs. I tracked it to the middle of Cheelah where the trail just stopped. so i placed a way point on the last track and fast traveled back to the outpost near the watch tower and reset the night and headed back up the tower. when i got to the bottom of the tower the tracks on my map where still there but when i got to the top of the tower they where no longer on my map.

Will the bull respond at a later date? Or Is my game stuck and i need to abandon my lvl35 character and start all over?

Mission-specific animals reappear after restarting the game if the objective is still active. Please quit theHunter entirely to ensure there are no instances suspended in the background and revisit the area at night - press the Xbox button on your controller and highlight CotW, then press the Menu button and select Quit.

Dear Support_Paul, Thank you so much, I shut the game down after posting the message and went to sleep and I just tried your recommendation and it worked now I have a Diamond Roosevelt Elk in my Trophy Lodge.
