Respawns aren’t working

Hello, I am currently trying to do a great one fallow grind on Te Awaroa but after I shoot a deer it doesn’t respawn. I have tried lots of things trying to fix this (checking my whole map, hunting around on a different map, restarting the game, etc.) but nothing seems to help. Thank you.

You may be shooting loner deer and so they do not always show up at the same zone. When you start a grind it will take a while to figure out what zones have loners and which are herds. When you figure that out pick the zones that consistently have the males return. Also after the last update I have noticed that the respawn times are longer and I am almost certain that the timer to respawn dose not start until you harvest the animal. Also the timer will not tick down if you are not on the map or in the game at all. These are of corse speculation as I don’t work for Ew:)

Thank you for your response, but I did not just start my grind I have had this grind going for about six months. So I know that they are not loaner deer also it has been about 25 deer. I’ve been having this issue for four days now, so I would think that they should’ve responded by now. Also, I have been harvesting.
