The handgun icon is literally a variation of a 1911 platform. Me and others carry them irl for hunting and as backups while hunting. Even in .45, it is a decent close range deer round. Not to mention all the other calibers and barrel length options along with optics.
Along with this, perhaps some more small caliber guns. Maybe the taurus raging hornet in .22Hornet (class 1-2) as a light, accurate small game and varmint handgun.
Some version of a ruger blackhawk maybe. .30carbine, 357, 41 mag, 327federal mag, 22mag, or their convertible series (45acp/45colt, 9mm/357/38spc)
Black powder pistols and revolvers:
Traditions trapper muzzleloading pistol, ranges in caliber from .32 (small game) to 58cal (elk/moose maybe)
1860 .36cal colt or 1858 .44cal Remington army model, or the LeMat revolver with 9rounds of .42 or .44cal lead roundball, and the single muzzleloading 20ga barrel. Heavy for a handgun but versatile.
More semi-autos. 460 rowland is an ever increasingly popular round for glock and 1911 platforms and delivers more energy than a 10mm. Or go with the fk BRNO 7.5mm pistol. Meant to deliver rifle like performance. (Long range semi-auto that can be used out to roughly 200 yards or so from what ive heard seen and read.
