Are all animals spooking at near 300? On every map? Did you move closer after you spotted them? The range dose not update until you click off them and spot them again. Also are you wearing a backpack that might make you more visible? Just some thoughts.

If you're wearing a backpack, take that sucker off, they increase spook radius by a stupid amount

Yes, all my animals on every map are like this and if i keep walking them will run away

Been having same issue. Can literally have wind going away from the animal and be 300m out any map and i can be prone not moving or in a stand stay still with no predators and the animals will go alert. After they flee i check the “animals spooked” in the score/settings thing and its always adding those animals on to spooked by sound

Ive tested it with, without, with and without dogs, with and without dogs and bags. Tried it with a literal empty inventory. Its still the same thing. Literally the only map it doesnt happen on is yukon. But all the others i cant realy get closer than 250-300

Were was the wind if ur in the wind and they smell u will spook from that distance put the hud on.so u can see wind cone on right side.
