I like All of this but bobcat should stay at class 2

and geese weights (which you suggested to be class 2) are:
Graylag Goose: <9lbs
Canada Goose: <20lbs
Tundra Bean Goose: <8lbs
Magpie Goose: <7lbs
When only considering weight 3 out of 4 would have to be the same as gray fox

I mostly focused on upland/ predator/ & Land game. Figured a waterfowl hunter would sort out the ducks n geese.

Sry I meant to get bk to you but bobcats are the same size as lynx at 100lbs/45kg (game logic) (irl 30-40lbs) were coyotes are 60lbs/27kg though me & my cousin have shot 70lb+. Class 2 is more suitable for raccoons, turkeys, Red Fox, & Jackels. 20-30lb or 9-13kg. They need to size up bobcats and coyotes bc the models are tiny. Coyote next to a red fox coyotes look sickly and bobcat appear smaller then lynx in-game unfortunately. (way smaller)

Cougars a higher class than black bear? Why?

long dust

•Lion: (595lbs) •Tiger: (714lbs

#

Mtn lions are also well known for hunting elk where blk bears can but usually weaker ones within herds

sry I'm juggling my kids and replying so I'm distracted 😅

just like if I put lions & tigers in 7 over 9

#

plus we have 2 really awesome multi-mounts with puma/mtn lion with an elk & deer

Sure, increase Brown Bear to 8, I'm fine with that. That makes sense. I just think putting Black Bear lower than a "big cat" that's a fraction of its size and toughness and quite easy to bring down is silly. If you must bring the Black Bear down to 6, leave the Cougars at 5.

I'd also be okay with Tigers and Lions at 7 or 8. They're really only 9 because of the theme; king of the jungle, largest cat in the world kind of thing. And the fact that they're so highly regarded by a lot of cultures. But realistically I'd like them at 7 or 8.

And IRL the Glock is usually a hunter's go-to self-defense weapon against black bears, and the Davani in game is a 2-6. But if we were to be able to use it on Black Bears I'm more in favor of increasing the Davani to 2-7 rather than bringing bears down to 6. Just my personal preference.

# long dust I dont disagree however size alone isnt the only factor I considered. Danger lvl...

Danger level? I think Black Bears are more of a threat in the game than cougars. The cougars are scaredy-cats to be honest. Sure they chase other animals and not many others have that mechanic, but when it comes to the player character they are rather chicken.

I'd also be okay with Crocodiles at 9. They're incredibly tough, and I'd lose my favorite Croc-rifle for them (Gandhare is amazing on Crocs, especially from 200+) but I wouldn't be mad at making them a 9.

In the game or IRL? in real life I don't doubt that. But in the game they run from you before you even know they're there. I don't find them a threat at all in the game.

IRL... In-game they debuffed them bc ppl got upset they killed everything. When PF dropped Pumas/Mtn Lions hunted game like they do irl the issue was it spooked game often as well. So they debuffed them n now they run I hate it. An easy fix would've been to reduce the population since thier usually illusive anyway unless your in their territory. We talked about this in this thread.-->https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1266310186587525273

However now since Tigers were brought in ppl want lions reworked. Well a good number of ppl also want game in general to act more realistically. Predators esp. between Day/Night behavior as well as the difference between packs/prides to solitary behaviors. Prey ppl want breeding season behaviors as well as actual animal encounter behaviors. But yes cougers were a 7 threat over black bears once upon a time 😢 & I want that back despite my own experience on a hunt irl. I still love predator hunting.

Well I'm embarrassed 😅 I messed up! So...yea.....mtn lions 6 not 7. Idk why I said & put 7 it didn't click when we were talking of course it didn't help my kids were playing tag screaming doing laps around me......but I went bk to my notes and realized I goofed it up. So it'll be adjusted, but eitherway yes as of now they are scardy cats and I'd like to see them brought back but better after they proved they can with the Tigers & snow leopards. My apologies 🙏

Funny you say that because I've been on Cuatro Colinas a lot lately and everytime I'm in the hay fields I see packs of 6-9 wolves that are chasing away the boar, hares and mouflon

6 with Gray Wolves. And I only get attacked on Medved. Yukon or CC I've never been attacked except on the missions.

I don't get attacked by any of the Iberian Wolves in the fields. Only when I'm walking by lakes, which I rarely hunt at, they'll come out of nowhere without a warning like the Bengal Tigers. I carry a tripod on me when I go to Cuatro just for those times so I can throw it down and get in so I don't have to walk all the way back. The wolves in the open areas on Cuatro flee quite often but they come around all the time and if they don't notice me because I'm on the other side of the field I can usually get 1 or 2 before they scatter

#

There's quite a few missions in Cuatro that require getting European Hares and I can never find them because there's always wolves in the fields so I have it keep deleting Hare zones by getting the wolves in them and let them refresh. So the missions take forever

Shouldn’t Lions and Tigers also be called?

All predators should have a prey caller with blood scents added. Huxley's improved scents thread is more ideal than how the game currently has us use them.
