I think the game would really benefit from more small game that isn't mainly rabbits and birds, mainly between classes 1-3. Granted, I do think we need more upland game birds.

Anywho, to the list

Fisher/Fisher Cat - Class 3(?), could be backfilled onto NEM, would definitely have a chance to go aggressive too

Honey, American, and European badgers - class probably class 2, but oddly durable and definitely mean, not liking being shot or shot at.
Honey badgers could be backfilled onto Vurhonga, preferably put onto a new reserve
American badgers could maybe go onto SRP or Mississippi?
European badgers could be backfilled onto Hirshfelden maybe?

Wolverine - class 3, backfilled onto Yukon and/or added onto a new Canadian Artic or Alaska map, like the badgers, they'd be durable for their class and pretty mean.

Pine marten - a simple class 1 predator, not sure where they could be backfilled onto as I don't know much about em

Striped skunk - class 2, backfilled onto NEM or Mississippi. Could spray you if you get close, alerting nearby animals until you rest.

Opossum - class 1 or 2, backfilled onto NEM or Mississippi

Eastern grey squirrel - class 1, backfilled onto basically any American map

Red squirrel - class 1, backfilled onto Hirsh

I also think both European and American ground squirrels could be solid additions to the game

Wonderful suggestions👌

Thank you! I've been hunting more small game recently in game, and I've been having an absolute blast doing it. But we need more variety

#

I also think that maps like Mississippi could really benefit from this. The fact that we don't have things like possums, bobcats (ik they're on NEM), and skunks on Mississippi shocks me

Can't say I've hunted Rancho much, but maybe I should try it more. I know I have a level 3 turkey on Rancho, but even with decoys I can't find the damn thing. And agreed! Mississippi needed more small game so badly, would've given it more unique species too

I do enjoy mulies quite a bit, they're a nice bonus. Maybe I should hunt Rancho some more.

Very nice ideas! I like them a lot, would make predator hunting so much more fun

Please yes. Class 1-2 animals are very underrated and there arent a lot of 1-3’s. Its fun to just go on a walk and bag a couple of rabbits or upland game birds. It would also be nice if we could use the dogs to tree raccoons maybe? Or at least chase them or something. That and flush birds towards us?

# dark fjord Rancho I'm tellin ya are loaded with yotes & bobcat.

Ive seen 2 coyotes on layton, that was for the mission and since then havent seen a single one or heard any. On new england is where ive seen most. All the shots have been on fleeing ones because ill call them in but they get to 180 and spook even though wind is good and im not moving on and off a stand, no bags no dogs, but they spook no matter what i do

Class 1-3 definitely needs some love. I've always loved bigger game more, but I've had the urge to really fill out those small stands in my lodge lately

#

I've even gone as far as targeting lynx on purpose. Granted I did get a mela out of it

i get ya there

Some more suggestions!
Ground squirrel - class 1, I think they could go on several maps depending on the species?

#

American crow - class 1
Could be NEM, Mississippi(?), maybe even give SRP a bird species

They'd come with decoys and callers and be in large flocks

#

Wallabies, any species!

Class 3, backfilled onto Emerald Coast and maybe even Te

Those are a good choice too!

Woodchucks (2), MuskRats (1), as well as Beavers (2 or barely a 3)<--this 1 could go either way

Beavers would make people happy based off the "beavers taking your tents" joke

# frosty quiver Woodchucks should be 1. They aren't big enough

You made me double take for a moment bc all the woodchucks we had were the same size as raccoons, but I guess they're not supposed to be that large normally according to wki!?! Thats really odd to me, bc all the ones my Great Grandfather took were around 18-26lb woodchucks thought that was normal 🙄⁉️

# prime vine I think a lot of the 1-2 class animals need to be more “floofy” as you said. In ...

Yea all the woodchucks we took were really fat apparently according to wiki which I still feel is odd since the ones we took were the size of Coons. But none the less it still would be fun to add more Varmints & Furbearer species in-game hands down though it is getting better. But yea after the Thar I'm convinced all the furs need re-worked. Red Fox isn't bad, Grey Fox is borderline, & Idk about Tibetan Fox yet; I still need to really hunt in Nepal 😅.

The fisher should probably be a class 2 at the highest, maybe a class 1 even. They’re not very tough, even though they’re fairly large.

Badgers, on the other hand, would fit well in class 3, as they’re incredibly tough and durable. I’ve shot one with a .300WSM and it still ran a good distance before deciding to go down.

TA really needs some love. The only addition I want to EC is feral cats but I'd be chill waiting for an Australia 2.0 so they could be implemented into the story

gray lotus
#

Nah, feral camels or cattle. Maybe horses, ECs desert biome needs a little more life than goats

Oh yeah, 100%. I'd love feral camels tbh. If feral cats ever get added I want them implemented into the story of the reserve anywho
