I hate when you are crawling, or crouching behind a hill, and yet the animal spooks, even if your wind is good, and you are not making much noise. The animals will spook from seeing you with super vision through the hill or rocks. Using terrain in real life is a great tactic, you can walk slowly behind a hill, then crawl and shoot the animal over the hill.

more importantly, having to pop up to crouching to see your target even when foliage is only 3" tall is silly. move the prone first person camera up 6", nobody who wants to see where they are going ever prone crawls with their eyes clamped at 2" from the ground.
