U mean the cheytac m200
What is it chambered in?
.408 cheytac or 375 cheytac
Heavy and useless.
I wouldn’t mind .408 Cheytac if you can find a rifle that makes sense to be in a hunting game.
Nah uh
Yes. It’s heavy and ugly.
It's practical
Not practical for hunting it’s technicaly anti material rifle
Explain how.
Buffalo are huge
300 kills them easily no need for bigger
We are talking about the rifle itself, not the caliber.
So it's a sniper so it's not going to have a hard time at long range.
It’s heavy and not rated for the bush.
How is it not
You want a rifle with 10 weight? Sounds annoying
One rifle, zero calls, zero binos😂😂😂
It's fine
This is what happens when people try to hunt animals like they’re playing call of duty. Rifle is too heavy, next they will ask for machine guns for “herd control”
Why would a round with 4000 more pound per foot of muzzle energy than a 7mm rem mag be a class 4-9 round?
“Because it’s used on humans”
🙄
Plus to rven use this gun you would have to be prone or use the bipod on something while standing or kneeling. Plus ammo would be insanely expensive. Almost like the 470. Plus the minimum zero would be like 150 for practical purposes. But also the 308 or 375 would be fine for level 8-9 game if hunting rounds were actually made for it
There’s dozens of firearms that deserve to be added before EW even THINKS of adding .408 Cheytac.
Why is even 3-8 in the question of what this round should cover! This round should probably be AT LEAST similar to the 470 NE. The rifle suggested would also be impractical as mentioned earlier due to its weight in addition to the fact that we have a max render distance of 420 meters, so there is no need to have a rifle like this as plenty of other rifles do the same job fine. We don’t need a round/rifle that shoots out to a 1000+ m.
^This to
Don't worry
We can still snipe animals with hunting rifles. This new .375 should be a showstopper I hope
You’d think people would be happy enough with the .338 tsurugi rifle for long range. Im hoping the .375 works well too
It'll work. I think the bullet drop could be a little more though
It would be nice if there was a considerable difference in power levels compared to 375 and 338. The 375 i feel should max out at 250 meter zero (or around there) maybe a mid range could be 125m and the close could actually be somewhere between 20 and 50 considering a lot of people use 375 as a dangerous game rifle for close range so it can fill that roll as a stopping rifle.
Probably 75 150 250. We can hope it punches
Would make sense to be a 7-9 class. Maybe even just 8-9. We’ll see what they end up doing i suppose. I just hope it has a lot of expansion and penetration on game. Im tired of hitting things like moose with good double lung shots from the 300 or 338 and they run for like miles
It needs to 100% QK a moose for sure. Bison/buffalo with double lung I think too
I don't know a whole lot about guns, but I know the .375 should hit HARD
😩 NO Anti-material rifles we are not hunting vehicles with armor/steel plating.
Anti-material rifles in a hunting game are absolutely ridiculous. Much less suggesting it as a class 4-8 rifle.
