I think it happens when you go to weapon lockers and the popup asks if you want to buy more ammo when you are empty. If you tap yes it goes to your inventory but you cant see it. I attached a video. You can see ammo count in wheel, but not hud. You still have to reload and it is not infinite ammo. It is 10 rounds. But it is annoying because you dont know how much you have unless you loon at inventory

Did you watch the video? Ammo was equipped. But i was able to shoot and it said 0 ammo the whole time

Yes I did, but did you do what I suggested? It may be a specific big for the scenario when you don't buy it from the store idk
