game crash after shooting bows

Works with crossbows but when i fire traditional bows my game crashes and when i fire compound bows my hits do not register. Found this out after being 15 meters from a moose on new england mountains and shot at it. I was zeroed for the correct distance and have made shots similar and much harder before with ease. But i tested it out and no matter my distance or arrow type, the animal just flees but hunting pressure still gets added, but there is no blood trail. As for the long bow, takedown bow, and the huoyi bows, my game crashes with every shot

Sent the picture to show roughly my closest shots on average. I generally keep bow shots within 30 meters. But even shots this close will not register. I will say that with the traditional bows i can claim the animal once i re-open the game. They will usually be within 1-20 feet from where i shot them even after the crash
