I love Call of the Wild (COTW) a lot—its gameplay, visuals, and how smoothly it runs. However, I'm not here to talk about bugs since there are already too many discussions about them. Instead, I'd like to suggest some additions that could greatly enhance the game's immersive experience:
- Climbing Tripod Animation: Adding animations for climbing tripods would add a touch of realism.
- Treestand Animation: An animation for crafting and climbing treestands would make these actions more engaging.
- Loading Screen Cut Scenes: When traveling to another outpost, a cut scene showing a journey through beautiful landscapes, with vehicle sounds spooking animals in the radius, could make loading screens more interesting.
- Deploying Gear Animation: Animations for deploying gear such as electronic callers and hunting equipment would enhance the game's visual appeal.
- Visible Gear: Having guns on the back, binoculars at the waist, and all carried items visible (though managing four weapons might be tricky) would add to the visual realism.
- Trophy Lodge Stories: Allowing players to write short stories about specific hunts in the Trophy Lodge would add a personal touch.
- Scope Switching Animation: Animations for switching scopes, as well as visual bullet drops (even if not realistic), would add to the visual enjoyment.
- Swimming: Adding the ability to swim would open up more gameplay possibilities.
- New Gun/Restock Animation: Animations for getting new guns or restocking bullets from storage would be a nice touch.
- Visible NPCs and Story Quests: Making NPCs visible and interactive during story quests would deepen the narrative experience.
