Chokes are the only thing that piques my interest, but I don't think they need to be bundled with suppressors and muzzle brakes.

The smaller fast travel point suggested recently could be interesting. And I agree with the folks who have asked for a SxS UTV (my own suggestions being to make it slower than the ATV but have partial cache access).

But most gear suggestions tend to be things that would just make the core gameplay easier with few trade-offs, and I don't really think that's needed.

I considered a UTV but as a separate pack idea, my thought was a vehicle pack with the UTV w/ trax and replace the ATV with a snowmobile on snow maps.....provided we either get 4 seasons &/or more snow reserves

Goose hunting today, I wanted a Rangefinder Scope as I spotted them through the Red Raptor Reflex Sight. While you're in the scope and they're flying, you lose any idea of an accurate distance.🪿

The Blue and white dot in an "all in one" patch for modifying weapons. It would bring another layer of loadout setup to the game and allow you to tailer your weapons to your hunting styles or certain animal hunts 👌🏻

I intend to do another poll related to this at a later time but as of right now it would snag......alot on the terrain unless we had a powder snow reserve. Medved would eat it alive which is why I'd rather have a 2-4seater UTV (if multiplayer gets fixed) with access to your players storage (not store) and is equipped with wheels or tracks depending on the reserves climate/terrain.

I do agree with you there. Its a long shot but I took alot of thread topics to assort this poll. Who knows, EW might consider the results from my posted polls for future additions?!

Muzzle devices one. Suppressors could make hunting pressure lessened after a shot. Muzzle brakes have been known to make guns louder so maybe you get less recoil and muzzle flash (sometimes) but hunting pressure is slightly more? Or instead they just add weight to the gun. As for the choke there should be multiple types. Cylinder should be default. Then maybe a modified,full, x-full, and a buckshot specific choke that can maybe make it more dense of a pattern out to possibly 50-60 yards. At least with the 12 and 10ga shotguns. Smaller gauges should be less effective. Or at least the shot collumn should be different. Right now i think the only difference is “power” levels but pellet count is the same? I would have to check and see again to make sure. What do you all think

These polls have limited value because they are based on player perceptions .... We perceive that a piece of equipment will work in a certain way based on it's RL counterpart ...... But in COTW even our guns don't operate like the RL counterparts do ....

I understand what you mean that RL vs game is vary different however thus far gear works as intended in a general sense. And I've been vary happy with gear/equipment pks thus far. Weapons eh 50/50 in terms of game logic 😅

Ideally yes this could work however I tried to simplify it due to the rest of the core mechanics as well due to the poor old engine their using. But Ultimate Hunting is applying muzzle attachments so.......🤞heres to hoping EW will as well

We can hope and wait lol. Im sure there will be a time when that dlc comes out. Maybe they can be attachments like the tritium iron sights where it isnt any weight but it changes the way they look (and some guns it makes them actually usable with irons) at least as an idea for how to equip them. I play on console so if i got the weapon wheel pulled up then i press rb to change optics lb to change ammo. Maybe if i press A or something then i can change muzzle device?

Suppressors:•The audio would be similar to the .22lr Armalite (it already sounds suppressed over a .22 snap). •Hunting stress is between a bow and rifle still allowing the bow to be used. •Also 15k-20k seems fair to me for ea. Suppressor attachment. •This would also need to req. a weapon score to unlock as well. Muzzle Brakes:•Produces slightly more stress however reduces 30% more recoil (stacks with perks) 10k ea. with weapon score unlock. Chokes:•Shot Spread and effective range will vary, 6k ea. with weapon score unlocks.

So if we got big game decoys that had a scent slot/wick or however it was approached we'd need an updated UI for it, maybe they could even update the scent killer with a small visual timer that shows actual numbers rather a shaded dial

that sounds more than reasonable. In terms of slots weapons could also use the same mechanic for assembly as a thought. But I'd much rather have a counter than a dial for sure. Even a slot with a decoy would also be grand with a separate timer. Preds would be territorial, while Lg Game would attract just like the birds do.

I feel like it would make stands way more useful as well. There are plenty of scents to attract all types of animals and pairs with a decoy it could be extremely useful.

Say a blood scent, rabbit decoy and ecaller using the rabbit distress sound would be a massive attraction for predatory animals like lynx, bobcat, and coyotes

Fawn decoy would probably be the best choice, suppose it would work on deer as well just not as effectively as for predators

Yeah the shaded dial we have is hard to see from across the room so I know I'm using my scent killer too fast, it would be nice to choose the brightness and color of the hud too

I added feeders as a structure that would require feed or meat with a timer to attract game/predators. Its common in the US during the bow & blackpowder season even rifle in some states. However it was a long shot idea, most of the suggestions are related to many existing threads related to each other...with a few of my own like the decoys and additional muzzle attachments. Figured if suppressors are the rage atm I'd pitch brakes & chokes as well.
