green would be cringe, not everyone wants to do missions and also people want more than one g1 of one variety, you see some cool huddle fallow g1 mounts and you wouldnt get that with missions. also weekly challenges same concept, not everyone wants to do that. it would just make g1’s too free

A single mission G1 & a Challenge G1 would provide an equal opportunity out the gate for everyone to get 1 or 2. After that however I personally would prefer the overall option because it isn't predictable when it'll appear. Unlike the existing method were its predictable because your deliberately forcing it to spawn.

This isn't purely one or the other its a general overview to see who would like what. It'd be nice to mix it up with more than a single forced method esp. since they have different variants so truly its still random on what would show & when. The current method is too controlled and its predictable because you're deliberately forcing it to appear. You just don't know when or what variant. Plus the idea of allowing all players to get 1 or 2 as a teaser to whats out there leaves ppl wanting more. Which is why I'd prefer the Overall Random # because its unpredictable as well as a surprise when they do appear.

the random # would be difficult because not every species has a g1 so you’d miss out on alot of g1 spawns if your # kill wasnt a g1 species, also its possible to have a g1 as a base spawn on a map so i dont really see it as an issue

However, if you just want a G1 Moose, WT, Fallow, or Red Deer, hunting all species and having a random G1 spawn might be cool. These ideas should spin out as a new game. No doubt someone is watching.

i mean if you want a wt fallow or red deer then hunt a map with all of those or as many as, theres many maps with red deer and moose so just kill two birds with one stone

Oh no dont get the wrong idea I'm chill with it, all I'm saying is it would be nice to have multiple ways to get 1 is all I'm saying. And I dont think it would kill anyone if all players could acquire a dedicated mission G1 with a random variant at the least. Plus from my understanding all but the Tahr G1's thus far are based off of the 2 starting reserve species. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that was intentional so none dlc players had a slim chance to get 1 as well.

well go on a map with everything you want, like irl, not all species live everywhere in the world. you wont see a moose and a kangaroo cross paths

So far 16 original vs 14 new methods. Its nearly a 50/50 split as it sits. So, it's safe to say the current mechanic should in fact stay however EW should also consider a new mechanic or rather various mechanics as well to acquire a G1 over just the 1.

I weighed the current vs the alternatives

Its nearly 50/50 from those who prefer the current method with the other who want an alternative. Its not a debate on 1 or the other it just shows ppl do want to see additions and other options outside of the current. And I agree having more than 1 option is acceptable. I could careless on rarity but that doesn't mean I want it to be too easy either. As I said it wouldn't kill anyone to get their 1st G1 in a mission with a random 1 of 5 variant. As well as alternative means outside of force controlled grinding. Yes it can appear eventually on a casual playstyle but since time is an issue for 80% of players as they claim it would make sense to have them appear by multiple means.

Your still able to hunt for them outside of the mission or challenge. These options are not 1 sided and in no way a replacement. The point is to introduce new ways to acquire them.

Value and Rarity before the patch has long since sailed on Xbox esp. with the trade community/players. Dont believe me look at Xbox group search or any platform about trades. You wont find a way how they do it but they literally exchange Dimes, Fur Types, & G1's ("All the Time") even charge $$$ for them.
