Hello everyone, first I will start I don’t grind, nothing against those that do it’s just not my play style that I choose. Most of the grinders now I am sure have many g1’s already including the tigers, since before the fix. As for me, I more of wander around shoot what I see, sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I just watch, take photos, or look at the scenery. I also don’t hunt just big game or level 4 and up. I hunt rabbit, and birds, i would hunt squirrels and beavers if they were added. now when i fast travel and the spook radius I find annoying. I don’t place all my tents at lakes, but some are. Like the new map I did it was way out of way, far from a cabin so I did, there was also no terrain I could place but on the lake shore.I had some big whitetail level which were potential Diamond and poof gone in seconds. My tents are based on between cabins so I don’t have to walk 900+ to go somewhere I like being in between places so I can wander exploring the entirety of the map.
I understand EW and how they want the game not to be where bam the animals are there ready and willing to be shot, but for everything to spook is annoying. So got me thinking what everyone casual and grinders alike would think of the idea of fast travel to a lake and then the animals come in after a period of time. Drink zones, feeding zones have already been stated they are “maybe” spots that an animal might not be there. So like irl an animal might be at a lake but might not be there when you arrive but come later. Maybe that could help with the respawn rates as well since the animal would be travelling in. And for variety have the odd one there at times? But I am concerned I will never get a g1 tiger now, I have over 1800 in the game, and have one g1 whitetail, and I haven’t seen one since.
It was just a thought and wondered what everyone thought about it. Perhaps between us all and throwing ideas around a solution more suited for all could be accomplished.

I don't grind either, unless I am short on funds and even then I usually bounce between types of game of many different maps to hunt. I have no GO's and a few diamonds, and I don't HM or stack. The fact that this update will still affect me negatively if the intent was to curb grinding is kinda bad, imo.

That isn't really relevant to this update, as it affects many different types of players from casual to dedicated, but at least several hundred. I'm away from home working so I'll have to check later.

I have all of the mission unlock weapons like the Rayo, so that should give you a vague idea of how much I play.

Well it was relevant bc you said you had no GOs.... I truly feel with the way it is now a casual player will never get a GO... if they do get lucky enough they won't get a second.... no matter the time and effort they put in.... the only realistic way to get a GO is to grind.... I just don't understand why you would put something in the game and expect 99.99% of the players to never get it... it seems to me if your going to change the way spawns work, it needs to come with a spawn rate and zone changes too.... this delay is not changing anything at all expect the time that must be spent idol....

@flint sentinel I got one g1 a whitetail, but I messed the kill shot so reverted to Diamond and didn’t register as a g1. However, I haven’t seen any since. Sure is a lot of people unhappy, so I hope a solution can be compromised.

@ashen elk it still looks like a go in the lodge, the rack is the same.
