#question about predators

Last night while working on some missions on cuatro Collinas i stumbled up a pack of wolves that said “CHASING” so i watched them run across a field to a pack of boar. The boars immediately changed to aggressive. I sat in amazement and watched these wolves and boars chase each other all over the field. I never knew that the predators actually would “catch their prey” so to speak.

I’m mostly curious, since as I was watching none of the animals had their health drop, do predators actually kill the other animals on the map? Or have the ability to do so to some extent? Or was this just by strange luck that the pack of boars went aggro on the hunting wolves?

I don't think they do, although it would be interesting if they did, and that would be how new predator feed zones were made😆

I think there would be complaints if wolves and lions started killing off people's diamond and rare animals lol

Imagine stalking a super rare only to find it eaten by a wolf

I personally think that’d be a neat mechanic to the game. Would make stacking for a GO grind more interesting too. You got 6 diamonds stacked and all of a sudden a bear kills 2 on you. Would certainly be aggravating but would add some fun imo

This used to exist when Parque Fernando was released. The pumas would kill deer and leave the bodies. Some of the big name CCs at the time did lose Diamonds, which lead to complaints, and then the inevitable changes to the game. Here is an example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdaNvNMKK3U
