So I agree with this latest patch but it’s really upsetting that it dividing the community so badly. I believe EW needs to take a step back and stop listening to the community and creators for a bit. It seems as of late it doesn’t matter what EW does half the community is up in arms. They need to take a step back and start doing things how they want for a bit, take the game in the direction they want and have things working how they intend them to work.

I think a part of the problem is the game has been exploited for so long by creators and the community for so long it’s turning out to no longer be what EW intended it to be. I mean Jaxy even said they never intended for Great Ones to be so easy to get and people have loads of them. And it’s pretty sad when Jaxy has to pause in the middle of a live stream to ask the community what exploits they don’t want patched.

I just think EW needs to take control of the reins again and build it how they see fit for awhile that is all.

I have to disagree about Great Ones being easy. I only have 3. I was grinding tahr before this previous update with over 50+ hours of grinding without a Great One. I wouldn’t consider that easy. COTW is a unique hunting game in the sense that it’s faster paced then any other hunting game out there. If I wanted to spend hundreds of hours to get half the trophies I have in COTW I would go play Classic or WOTH. I don’t believe that EW vision for the game is the best move because it takes away COTW uniqueness and makes it more like other hunting games.
