What is the purpose of having great ones in the game? I understand they are supposed to be incredibly rare. It’s supposed to be a prized possession. It takes hours and hours and thousands of kills to get one to spawn. So if grinding was never the intention, why put them in the game. There is not just one of them. There are 5! You spent a ton of time and money on creating and designing these animals, and it feels as though you don’t really want people to have them. I am a grinder/ run and gunner. I currently have 4 great ones and that took me over 3 years to obtain. Hundreds of hours grinding, 1000’s of harvests. I absolutely love them. I also love finding diamonds and rares running and gunning to put in the lodge. If you don’t want the constant grinding in the game, I understand it’s not a great look to see someone just obliterating animal after animal on repeat for hours at a time. Why not adjust it? Why not increase the rate a bit? We all want great ones, not everyone wants to grind. Grinding is time consuming, frustrating, extremely repetitive. But at the same time, I don’t want them to be something achieved easily. Increase the spawn rate just a bit. Idk what it is now if it’s .01% or .005%. Idk. But what is the point in having them if you don’t want us to be able to get them? Please re adjust the spawn timer that was made today. It doesn’t only affect the tigers. It’s all animal species. Allow us to play the game we have grown to love, the way we did when we PAID for it. I love this game, and I want to continue to play it for years to come. I have all dlc’s. I buy everything you put out, but I am losing my enjoyment of the game by the decisions that are being made. Please listen to the community. Take a vote, a toll, something. Please come up with a better solution than what we have achieved today.

I think it's pretty clear what their intentions were when they made the first GO. It was supposed to be a trophy you would only get if you were lucky. Not a trophy every player would feel entitled to killing. I don't even know if that original vision is possible to implement at this point, but that was surely the idea.

And to your answer I agree. But we clearly have evolved. This game has grown tremendously. My question was why put all that time and money into creating these things if they were that rare to achieve. Why not leave it at the white tail. One true great one. It must have cost a good bit of money on design to make these. I don’t want to have to grind for one. But if I go around my map running and gunning and kill 100 moose over a year, I might never see it. My white tail grind was almost 1500. My fallow was 3400. That’s years of time at a casual run and gun pace. I just personally believe there needs to be some adjustment for that. Maybe I’m wrong. Just voicing my opinion.

How high a spawn rate is too much?

I don’t know if my math is right on that.
