#change spook radius on how it was when Sundarpatan Hunting Reserve Realesed.

I've been grinding and doing my own herd management on this game since it came out on PS4. I've always put my tents 275 yards away and I grind anything I want. I do agree 100 yards would be more realistic, but saying you can't grind without spawning in on top of them is just not true.
You’re ruining your game E.W
Wait so you’re ok with the change?
Based on the wording, I’d say he is. Grinding isn’t supposed to be easy. G1s aren’t supposed to be easy. They’re meant to be a very difficult thing to find, and having a spook radius for fast traveling is just like having a spook radius for the ATVs.
How are they ruining the game? Seriously, I’m just wondering.
Gotta be one of the few grinders who is. Love it.
They won't change it back, the sundar spook radius was a bug
hey, i’m just wanting to pop in to add my two cents - i totally agree that grinding should not rely on spawning on top of animals, but the main problem is that it is quite literally impossible to tent more than 100m, let alone 200m+ from a lot of the tahr zones, since they are right on the side of sloped hills, heavy foliage, etc! i think it makes sense for every single other grind, however with the tahr there needs to be some sort of middle ground - whether it be a shorter spook radius, or the ability to put tents down further away / more reliably, because the tahr grind is very very hard in it’s current state!
some tiger zones are puddles surrounded by trees and hills which run into the same problem.
I agree tent placement is and issue ... Jaxy said they are looking into tent placement issues .... If tent placement is difficult it will be difficult for 50m as well 250m ..... distance doesn't matter
for sure! but it's much easier to tent tahr zones from 50m, since it tends to be within the area of flat-ish ground the tahr feed on. but much further than 50m, a lot of zones back into brush, hills, and all sorts of things that make this new radius very hard to work around. hopefully they'll take a good look at the problems and take community feedback on board!
It’s a good things that tigers cannot be a grind now. They were never intended to be and they as are intended now. They’re meant to be rare.,
I really liked how tents didnt scare animals anymore. It made tent placement way easier when it came to lakes.
They can still be farmed. It’s just bad tent placements that surround the areas and the super small lakes they go to. If tents don’t get fixed it’s only a matter of time before people learn were to place tents. And they will die 30 seconds later then people will do another animal and come back. Slowing grinds down slightly but it’s not like the spawn rates of the rares actually changes and since they were easy to get they will still be easy to get. It will just take ever so slightly longer. My issue is I have 3 lakes that the only tent placement I can find is over 300m away. Like why? Or I have tiger spawns 50m away from an outpost. With the old maps the zones were far enough away to not spook from fast traveling to an outpost. Now I need to put a tent outside my outpost to hunt my outpost when it should they should be spawning at the tent. They knew this when they designed the map and made the changes to fit the new map due to them probly knowing these problems would be a thing if they kept it the way it was before. But because it’s to easy instead of just wiping drink times for tigers. Which is what makes them still so farmable more then tahr or snow leopards. Tigers arnt rare still adding longer spawn on them doesn’t make them any more rare then they were before. It’s not like they reduced the spawn numbers or how rare the fur types are. Which would actually make them more rare.
To tents? it's just reverting to what it was. I'm not ok with the change to respawns. However, I am simply saying it's not as sever as people are making it out to be. Saying you can't grind at all is ludacris.
Ahhh I see. Well I agree with you there
I wonder how this is affecting the snow leopard grind cough cough @open pecan
I actually found that a lot of my tents up north did have snow leopards pretty close to them. It was not intentional, but I didn't mind finding them when I traveled in to hunt Yak.
My main issue with the tents is that you just can't find a place to put them. There's grass on the ground and you can't put it over the grass which is just stupid. Same goes for stands.

I actually posted something similar a while back
