Hi EW! I love this game! I mostly duck hunt, (pls gib a great one duck lol)
I have over a thousand hours in the game, all the maps excessively explored, done a lot of achievements, played through most missions and can reliably hunt every single animal in the game with 'almost' every weapon.
I've never seen a GO. Not once.
I'm prepared to accept this as I won't do the grind game. Nothing against that sort of play but I can't seem to get into that.
I know you wanted the GOs to be a sort of 'once in a blue moon' thing but as I don't grind for a spawn, and after 1000 hours of playing the game relatively well it seems like they are a sort of 'never' thing for me.
I still love the game and can't wait for the next update but I wanted to put this out there, as it was briefly mentioned in the latest live stream. If you just wander around for a thousand hours shooting nice males and getting ethical harvests (which is absolutely wonderful, don’t get me wrong) it seems very possible you will never get to shoot a GO.
I’ll keep wondering though. Maybe tomorrow. 🙂
