This update is terrible!

The COTW devs are single handedly ruining this game step by step. 1st they add a great one nobody had asked for from the beginning (tahr). 2nd off with this brand new update they made tahr nearly impossible to grind. 3rd why would you change the respawn time? If you don’t want people to grind then take your damn great ones out of the game. I get it you want to be more realistic but if you wanted to be more realistic you would make grinding impossible (which you have almost done already.) I hope this reaches the right people and i hope the devs listen to the community this time.👎

I'm setting up a black bear grind right now and I don't know if it's pointless now 😦 So I will go to the 4 lakes in minutes and then wait for half an hour or what? That is not the game I spent good money on.

If you're confused about why EW changed the Tiger respawns, I think it was these exploits. They don't want this to be the dominant style of gameplay a year from now - especially after everything they went through to have endangered Tigers accepted into the game:

A couple weeks ago I stumbled into a late night Twitch stream, and watched for 15-minutes as the streamer did a 1-Zone Tiger grind. Over and over he popped the tiger, picked it up, exited to Main, went back in, and immediately popped the same tiger. Rares were coming up every few kills. Nonstop. It looked like some kind of bizarre experiment.

All they had to do to have Tigers accepted into the game??? I saw exactly no one who had a problem with endangered animals in the game. It's just pixels🤷‍♂️
And if you don't like that style, don't play it. it is not a competition to get rares and it is no excuse to take away the other grinds.

Oh I love grinding - I have 5 maps set up for it. But that's different than understanding what EW is concerned about.

So far I haven't tested my maps for non-Tiger species delayed respawns. Maybe I'll join you once I do.

Also, I'm sure EW as a company went through a lot to get endangered Tigers approved in the game. Someone had to take some heat from a public relations standpoint to make that happen.

I'm really not trying to just flame out here but.... delayed respawns need to go.... asap.... really makes me wanna not play.... tents are fine.... they nailed the tahr visual updates.... but going the wrong way on these delayed respawns

Fallow dear on Emerald coast. 8 minutes shooting males in all main zones, 20+ minutes only female fallow

I believe it to be an unintentional fix they will later call "too broad".
They have to revert/fix it. I've got two weeks to grind my G1 fallow. Then my holiday will be over/wasted
