Using a 470 or 338 or any weapons in class 8-9 does not penetrate past skin on moose inside 30 yards. However what does work is a 243 of all things. If a 243 works why does my 470 look like its a bb gun hitting the lungs but the other rifle gets double lung from further away?

I'm not sure if u measure it right, below 100m 470db is the strongest weapon that can penetrate every animal, maybe take a proper shot next time I guess

When i look at the ballistic chart when you claim the animal and you see the arrow for bullet trajectory it is in line with the lungs and heart. It just doesnt pass skin.
