As a part time Iowa resident… no
There’s nothing new they could possibly add other than ducks.
Better to make a list
Maybe montana or wyoming if you want true great plains to hunt on
🤣 I would never since its a shotgun or straight case only state. But this made my day. There's a reason why the river separates Iowagens from the Braskans as we say. Oh this is hilarious sorry. But honestly if the game was more authentic with every region's provinces/ states in our case with the yearly seasonal weapon hunts and weather I would go for it bc the restrictions would provide a reason to use required weapons designated at that time and location. And it would give players an idea of legal regulations if they were to go there to hunt as well as what game is in season. But sadly the game doesn't have the 4 seasons nor any restrictions to any weapon used with no penalties outside of game score and credits earned for a non ethical kill. Besides we already have many US locations that cover a lot if not nearly all of our hunting game animals. If nothing else I vote the Dakotas for upland Birds.
Iowa and Nebraska really dont have much to offer to the game. We have whitetail, mule, pheasants, quail, turkeys, sometimes elk & wolves on the north-western border, coyotes, bobcat, mountain lions, tree rats (Squirrels), Rabbits, Dove, Raccoons, Beavers, Badgers, Skunks, Possums, Ducks, Geese, grouse
I guess we also have pronghorn towards the western border as well as prairie dogs and woodchucks.
What species to hunt, corn, barley?
