In the “The Wounded One” Mission, the wounded reindeer runs away from the mission area, making it even harder to find, I look through to make sure that I wasn’t adding on to the situation, but it seems people on YT are also having this same issue. A maybe 10 minute long mission turns into a 50 minute one and the reindeer would’ve been, according to one comment I saw 6 kilometers away from the mission area.

If there’s away to “soft restart” the mission, where of the reindeer runs away, you can restart to the beginning of that mission to continue the story

I think I know what mission this is, if what I think it is I haven’t got that far because I can’t find the deer itself. Even when I get my bloodhound to track the blood it gets mixed up and can’t find the deer.

Please note that the reindeer is set to reappear in the mission location each time the game is restarted. Could you please try quitting the game and then coming back to the reserve to see if the animal can be found in the mission area?
Please make sure to avoid using the ATV or sprinting when getting close to the location so the animal doesn't flee due to the noise before you arrive.

I’ve had the same issue and once i finally found the reindeer i looked where i had hit it and the 308 went thru the brain and hit 2 neck vertebrae. But still traveled seemingly miles

I found a way around that mission if you crawl a bit towards the left side where there's a open spot she should be there
