There are 3 bear species known from Nepal:
- The Himalayan Brown Bear
- The Asiatic Black Bear
- The Sloth Bear
2 of these species could be realistically added to Sundarpatan and have them be truly new species: The Asiatic Black Bear and The Sloth Bear.

They would each have their own respective ranges on the map:
-Sloth Bears would be found in the Terai region and flatter areas of Pahad
- Asiatic Black Bears would be found in Pahad and possibly in Himal

In the case of the Sloth Bear, it should be an incredibly aggressive species when spooked.
It would not be like Tigers, where it stalks you, but rather like how Grizzlies used to be when Yukon released: Aggressive and Territorial when spooked.

Asiatic Black Bears would also be somewhat aggressive, more so than American Black Bears or Brown Bears, but less than Sloth Bears.
