It would be nice if dogs stop walking in front of our shots, especially when we're actively firing at animals. Perhaps have the dog automatically heel for a moment when you aim so it doesn't just wander in front of the shot and make you lose out on a good animal.

You could always get them to sit or lay down. If you want to do that quickly, add a keybinding in Settings.
