#feeding stations and lures

Wouldn't it be possible to introduce positionable feeding stations or lures for the fixed high stands? To be honest, the seats are usually really nicely positioned, but the game is either far too far away or not so visible due to the design of the stand. This is really common hunting practice. The options are really varied. Feeding or permanently attached attractants with scent (beechwood tar, salt lick). I now also have simple tubes on the trees with corn for raccoons...

I think part of the issues with the fixed hunting stands are the age of the maps .... On the newer maps you see the fixed stands are placed in some pretty good places .... However on older maps that have under gone map resets I believe the changing of the zones causes them to no longer be in good locations .....

I believe bait stations and feeders can be added to the game but it would require the bait station to replace an already existing feed zone.... So for example you purchase the bait station and place it down and this moves the closest feed zone that that new location .....

As long as the player is spending money on a regular basis to keep the bait stations filled then the bait station acts as a feed zone …. When they stop refilling the bait station then the zone reverts back to it's original location ….

Of course very strict limitations must be placed on where and how often players can create new bait stations other wise players will exploit this by trying to herd animals into one single location

Of course, it would also be good if you could divide the bait into baits for herbivores (bovids, cervids), omnivores (pigs, bears) and carnivores (tigers, snow leopards etc).

I mean, I can set up decoy pictures for turkey, ducks and geese to make the stands more interesting... why not for other animals? I also have to say that I would prefer a more "natural" style of play than sitting at a water hole and waiting for animals...

One possibility would of course also be to shoot a prey animal to get a meat bait...

I have a stand in Sundapartan where the animals have a feeding area right behind my back. You can't even shoot there. The next one is 150m to the left behind a knoll 🙈 @cold zealot

Yes I have had some maps where the fixed stands are placed in good positions and others no so good .... at east the fixed stands are relatively inexpensive compared to the the store bought stands .... I would definitely be in favor of feeders and decoys when appropriate to move an already existing feed zone to a nearby location .... but as mentioned, a mechanic like this could be used in an unintended or exploitative way if its not designed or implemented correctly ....
