This reserve is based on Northern Africa around Morocco
Striped Hyena: class 6
Barbary Red Deer: class 6
Barbary Sheep: class 4
Barbary Wild Boar: class 5
Gazelles: class 4
Jackals: class 2
Barbary Macaque: class 2
Puff Adder: class 2
Baladi Rabbit: class 1
Sand Partridge: class 1
Sandgrouse: class 1
Egyptian Goose: class 1
Tree Creepers: class 1
Desert Sparrow: class 1

I probably missed a few species. Idk if camels are legal to hunt but they would probably be around class 8. The pyramids would be an obvious landmark to add, though there’s not a reserve there so it wouldn’t fit. There’s always lots of people by the pyramids, which would be weird in the game. Give me feedback on the classes or species. Additionally, sandstorms could be a random weather event like snow and rain.

Not a lot of birds for a country that ONLY allows bird hunting.

it only allows bird hunting?

All I could find is that it is possible to hunt 24 species of birds in Egypt but I don't know which one because they keep talking about the Egyptian Goose

Cobra? good idea, since there are no snakes on the map at this point. (I used a translator)

we’ll just change it to northern Africa 💀 didn’t realize some of these were illegal

Welcome to Northern africa!

It would be necessary to make a mixture between possible and non-possibly huntable species.

yeah

wild dock

Most of North Africa doesn’t have hunting…because well…. Nothing lives there.

The only country I know of in North Africa that allows big game hunting is Morocco, but irl that is only for Barbary Wild Boar and a limited number of Aoudad.

Oh... Can't Rhino....?

if I don't talk nonsense, rhinos don't exist in North Africa only towards the south and part towards the center if I don't talk nonsense

I've lived in Egypt, but as much as I love the country and would like to see a reserve set there, the only thing you can legally hunt are birds (and these are mostly at the "Tourist Shooting Ponds" in the Delta.

If you wanted to add some grey areas for game-play purposes, you'd probably be able to get away with gazelles and Nubian ibex if you had a bit based on the Sinai, but there is just not a lot bigger than that around anymore. Even Nile crocs (and ostriches) are all south of the Aswan High Dam now days, so pushing into the Sudan.

Sudan isn’t in the best place atm, so not really an option.

Yeah, I guess the best country in North Africa for a potential Reserve would be Morocco which could introduce Barbary Sheep to the game (alongside Barbary Wild Boar)

And even if they included species like Barbary Red Deer, Dorcas & Cuvier’s Gazelle, Barbary Macaque and Striped Hyena most of the game species there would be birds

Welcome to Tasalki Morocco!

Now the species make less sense.

terse seal
#

i said imma fix it tommorow

#

@wild dock does it make some sense now

wild dock
#

Needs birds.

terse seal
#

ik i’m imma add like 2 or 3 more cus i’m not tryna make revontulli 2.0

wild dock
#

I’ve never understood the negative sentiment against Revontuli. It’s literally the only thing you could possibly do with this map.

terse seal
#

i honestly don’t like bird hunting, and I think that’s why many don’t like revontulli

#

I love hunting class 1-2 and 6-9 Just not bird class 1’s, mainly rabbits

wild dock
#

Far more rewarding than rabbits imo.

terse seal
#

it’s just that i can never figure out how far ahead to shoot when their flying. Besides turkeys and pheasants i’ve only killed like 2 flying birds and used like 125 bullets. it’s a skill issue
