I would be really happy if the Karabiner 98k would come into the game because the Mosin rifle is also in the game. And I really like the rifle and as a hunting rifle it is not bad either

No idea, bought it. Took it to the range and about 30 rounds in I felt the crack when I was getting ready to fire. Rangemaster declared it unsafe and I shipped it out

Understandable, I have a gun that i don't use either, and belonged to family. I get it. With my mausers I bought all mine, so always happy to use the old war horse for a good practical hunt. The 8x57is will kill everything in North America. There photos of u boat crews with dead polar bear. The Norwegian conversion are used to guard the world grain storage bank. From polar bears. Fyi Polar bears have no fear of man. So they hunt humans. Very dangerous apex predator.

I'd love to see a low power thermal like they did with the night vision scope and binoculers. The example shown would be amazing though I think it'd be a bit over used & OP. If anything a black n white thermal would probably be more balanced to make it not as easy. It would also be affected in weather just like the existing NVS & NVB.
