I like hunting the more immersive maps naturally, I am not a grinder and like to hunt smaller game and deer species generally (classes 2 - 7).
- Yukon Valley. Most Immersive/varied landscape that feels well tied together with an awesome storyline.
- New England Mountains. Super immersive beautiful map and love hunting the river ways like I do IRL.
- Parque Fernando. Story of the reserve is my personal favorite, cool dense bush landscapes.
- Emerald Coast. Varied landscape and animals, wish there was a bigger desert environment. (Feels like there are too many different biomes for the map space making it feel kind of unnatural).
- Sundarpatan. Beautiful map, enjoy hunting the middle of the map up but found the only reason I go to hunt the lowlands is the challenge of muntjac (Having Tigers is cool but I don't go out of my way to hunt them).
- Yukon Valley
- Vurhonga Savanna
- Mississippi
- Medved Taiga
- Rancho
The reason SRP is high for me is the fact I would stay up late hunting mountain goats with freinds
The pure nostalgia of it for me is so real, we would run around and shoot bison with .22 and stay up laughing, we can’t do that anymore but, it was a fun time
1-Hirschfelden,Medved, SRP
2-NEM, Revontuli, Rancho, Sundarpatan (probably, the only map I dont have)
3-Yukon(I think its in need of some backfilling), Mississipi, EC, Layton, Cuatro(kinda sad to put it in tier 3 being spanish myself, but I think this and Parque would have been more loved reserves if they got more development time) Parque.
4-Vurhonga (I like it but its age is showing)
The only I dislike-Te awaroa ( grinding the fallow drinkzones made me dislike that zone of the map, the forest and central mountain areas are nice tho)
- Yukon
- Revontuli
- SRP
I feel like srp was heavily rushed.
IMO, Sundarpatan was over hyped, it feels like a hirshfeldin with diff animals in the lowlands, the mountains are cool except I get charged by a Yak every 3 seconds
The mountains are by far the worst part of the map, the tree line is way too high up and the mountains are more or less rolling hills.
And I was a massive proponent of the mountain species, I love bharal.
As an FYI
Sundarpatan was so hype for 3 weeks, then it came out, people found cool animals, and it blew over, imo COTW maybe getting to the end of its lifespan
I actually like the central part of Sundarpatan having to creep through bush to get a shot in the small clearings on Tahr and Blue sheep is my favorite thing on the map and the snow storms in the himal region is cool too
My problem with the central part of the map is the species. The species (blue sheep and tahr in particular) shouldn’t really be there.
Real
