Using the ATV and losing my loadout in the new DLC

When I use the ATV I loose my loadout. It says I still have it with me, I can cycle though the loadout. It shows what my player is supposed to be holding, but it is not in my players hand. I have to go to a storage locker in a cabin or tent, swap the loadout with another. Then I swap back for the loadout I was carrying to get my loadout to show up in my players hand. It happens not every time but more often than not when I use the ATV. I only play in single player
