At least what I've noticed is that anyone with irl hunting experience is at least annoyed by the ballistics system in Call of the Wild. Some things work really well and others make absolutely no sense.
Let's take the .300 as our example. More people would choose a .300 for mule deer and black bear than bison and lions. The bolt action shouldn't be locked behind weapon score for people who own the AR version either. (Same for the 7mm and Malmer)
Other than that, the class system is the biggest issue with how the guns work. A lot of us genuinely just want or favorite guns to work. Maybe instead of 9 classes we could do 5. Maybe 6 or even 4.
The game has changed a lot, and the ballistics system was designed for very few weapons to cover a wide range of animals. We have a lot of options so the system needs to change to reflect that now.
