Configure the game for automatic population resets every 24 hours (or weekly/monthly) for those who are not grinders. Make Great One initial spawns possible, but very rare.

I agree. population resets on a regular basis, so the grinder/HMers know how long they'll have to try to get their great ones, hopefully keeping them happy. Even every quarter year, to give non grinders a tiny chance at G1s.

Perhaps make an in-game option for resetting populations, with a cooldown, of a day/week/month or whatever you think.

Hello, this option is a futur project or it is already in the game? ( I play on playstation)

Cool idea. Or introduce a pop reset charge.

Ok I see, it's a nice idea indeed

Weekly or monthly Automatic pop resets..... I don't think I can go along with this .... Maybe I cant fully appreciate how this would help with more G1?

First of all you would only have a week or a month to find all your zones for all the animals on the map ....

Then you hope you didn't miss a few zones because your G1 could be in one of those you missed .... This would mean the majority of your time is going to be spent constantly and feverously trying to find all those zones after each reset …

Being under such a time constraint sounds almost as bad as HM/grinding

The problem is that when you eliminate the entire population from your map then all the icons of need zones disappear, the same with the spawn points distributed throughout the map, basically you will have to go through everything again to activate them again.
It is not something I want for my maps, each one has dozens of hours invested so that all the populations are at their maximum and each area usable at its designated time.

As long as this is optional I don't think there will be a problem, at least for me
