HM channels like that legit just fast travel, shoot fish in a barrel, rinse and repeat. Content creators like that are why this game is in the state its in. The game was designed for hunters to enjoy hunting and struck a nice balance. Now a couple years after the respawn system is figured out the community is divided and the updates are just not working for everyone because the devs only update for money. What makes money? HM because youtubers made it so. They legit just forgot the community that built the game and only started caring about people who grind. I'll die on this hill. It's so mf obvious.

I'm the complete opposite there I don't watch simply because I think all their reactions are fake. You're not getting excited over anything after you literally have a dozen lodges full I don't care who you are. But fake reactions is what most of YouTube is made of and it pays the bills so🤷‍♂️. It's nice to see someone else realize that. I think people forgot who the game was built for. Before their little exploit system was discovered they made this game for people who love to hunt. Period. Now it's a hunting game made for gamers. Not hunters. Stat padders and number chasers, not hunters.

They won't discuss it. Because then they gotta discuss whether it's good for that game or not, changes, blah blah blah. They won't so something so bold. We get a lot of beat around the bush answers that's why I quit watching streams. I was surprised that one guy stopped hiding long enough to talk about tigers even if he did lie through his teeth.

My issue is that one side has the ability to play the way they want, but still wants the other side to have their method of play removed. Just because a hyper efficient method of grinding tigers exists doesn’t mean that’s the only way to hunt them. Why advocate for the removal? We currently have the ability in game to hunt tigers naturally which is desired by one side, and the ability to hardcore grind them out much is desired by another side. It’s a great middle ground. Wanting to remove one side method of play just seems kind of selfish.

I don't know if he lied per say. I just feel like they truly thought the Tigers having a drink zone wouldn't be that big of a deal. It's crazy to me how they thought it wouldn't ruin what they were going for with the Tigers. The second I learned about their drink zone, I realized this would happen. You can't put one or two tiny ponds in a Tigers kingdom and think that's not going to be exploited if they have to drink at them.

@cunning flax it's all about they way they advertised them leading up to release. If we always thought they were going to be grindable, nobody would be disappointed with the fact that they are. A lot of people, myself included were really excited at the prospect oh having ONE animal that was different than anything we'd ever seen before in the way that you can't grind it.

Tigers live up to the way the developers advertised them as long as you don’t choose to set up a hyper efficient grind using tents and the drink zones. If you want to hunt them the way the devs advertised, simply don’t set up the grind. Also, there are many animals in the grind that are absolutely not grind friendly. It’s not very honest to make it seem like tigers were the one chance that non grinders had at having a species to themselves that grinders wouldn’t touch.

Snow leopards are a great example. Not grind friendly.

Am unrealistic state of heavy arcade style hunting. I never said the game wasn't doing well. Call of Duty does well every year even though the major consensus across the internet is "this game sucks now". It has bare bone competition.

"ALL players" is why I think the advertising was not great. I read that to mean we would all be challenged, regardless of play style, similarly to how snow Leppards are.

Yeah, and NEM was advertised as a “grinders paradise” and that map is pretty much a grinders worst nightmare lol. So advertising isn’t always 100% representative of reality. I think the important part is that the game does allow for the tigers to be immersive. It allows for them to be grinded. I think it’s best that players are allowed to choose which way they want to go about it.

They deviate from the topic, the main thing is that they promoted a different animal, difficult to hunt and with a conservation message and they ended up delivering another cow with the same system as any other animal that we already have and that can openly slaughter.

The conservation message of this reserve is not existent. || In the Story they call a poacher a good guy and are happy that He is fine cause He is a friend. Also there are side missions that requires you to shoot a lot of tigers || in the end its just a game and like every game it has limitations on how stuff can work based on the engine. This game has more bugs than any bethesda game in comparision and yet it seems the only Problem people have is how other players obtain their trophys.

I see where you’re coming from. Wouldn’t you agree that in their current state both sides get what they want tho? Outside of their drink zones they are difficult and challenging, which is what natural players want. In their drink zones they are grindable, which is what grinders want. Both parties can hunt them how they want. I feel like that’s a fair middle ground, no?
