i am trying to use the gandhare to hunt but it will not spot animals even when below 100m making it extremely hard to dicern profiles and get a accurate shot . i have also noticed that the bow will no longer spot at 100m has the spotting distance been reduced or is this a bug?

just found out it will spot but not above 50m which is utterly useless for a rifle with a minimum range of 75m

I've found that if you have the Focused Aim Perk to give you a small zoom when holding your breath using Iron Sights that the Gandhare will spot around 80m.

Doing more testing, I actually spotted an animal from 140m just fine with Gandhare having the sight up. It even kicked in before the Focused Zoom.

Well the same here but also can't hit any animal I have tried with it so until a possible scope gets on it I don't think I will use it at all
