#Potential bug caused my great one black bear to disappear after harvest.

I harvested this GO black bear Sunday night. First pic shows i taxidermized the animal after harvest. Went to the lodge to place it on a platform, and saw, as the second picture shows, the bear was not in the list of mounted harvests, nor was there a tab for “latest unsaved harvest”. Checked the saved harvests as well and no evidence there, as the third picture shows. However, the latest harvests tab (fourth picture) clearly shows I harvested a great one black bear. I also noticed (fifth picture) that my great one stat has stayed at 2 harvests instead of going up to 3. I already harvested a GO fallow and red deer some time ago, which made it 2 originally. I’d hate to see this bug (if it’s actually a bug) permanently erase all the progress I made on the black bear grind so if there’s anything that can be done I’d greatly appreciate it. Also wanted to let this be known so this will hopefully prevent others from being affected by it.

P.S. all GO harvests were taken on my own single player map away from online.

Id say if you havent harvested anything else try going back to main menu then back into a map then go to your lodge as you should then be able to taxi the last animal if you havent hunted anything else or the info might just have bugged out so doing that might unbug it.

It does show that u saved or taxi in the first image but if the game bugged out when u re enter the map n go to lodge it'll be there in the save last animal harvested part. Sometimes i have noticed a harvest bug out so going to main n back in should work or just restart the game but dont hunt anything else till you have done that. If you have hunted anything else it might be lost unless the game info has unbugged then it might be there.

I would agree that something isn't right. Are you on a ps4 or ps5? If its a ps4 there could be an error with the character ur playin as. So if you do a new character it might fix the bug and before you worry your trophies in your lodge or saved harvest will still be there if you have to do a new character. Only thing that might help fix the bug is do a rebuild database for the console as that might sort the console filing system out. If you was on pc i would say it was a mod if you was modding as they cause more problems. Hopefully a Dev or moderator will see this and be able to help you with the problem.

Just incase upload a save of the file before doing so just incase ur game bugs out n deletes it then just download ur save file n try again.

The game and save file is on the console itself and not on an external hard drive?
