Welcome to the Outback, a beautiful (and hot!) destination to be in. Ever since British colonization many creatures have been introduced to this place such as Camels, Water Buffalo and Horses which unfortunately ruin the landscape of this place competing with native grazers and with little to none predators it's now your job to hunt them.
This map is based of '*Bushranger's run'*from TheHunter classic.
The new Great one coming with this map is the Red fox

I’d love a 8mm Mauser for this map.
Especially with all the class 9’s cough cough Sundarpatan cough cough.
That's a good idea
The 8mm mauser a gun suggestion for the reserve
The missions could be about how even a couple of new species can ruin massive environments like the outback. This map btw is set in WA, SA and NT
I actually included a 8mm on my old https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1175313914876153976 idea! For some reason, I picture 8mm as the quintessential Outback caliber for some reason, probably because of how diverse the game it can take is! 5-9 would be reasonable, however I wouldn’t mind another 4-9.
It's just like mine lol It;s good. anyways i gtg now
I will start with the positives since this reserve looks pretty cool
1: I love the amount of large game on this reserve, and I also love that you factored in all the feral animals like camels, cats and brumbies (feral horses)
2: I do also appreciate the fact that several more Australian waterfowl species are on this map
3: It sounds like a desert environment with some wetland areas (water buffalo seem to indicate this)
4: I also appreciate how its based on Bushrangers Run, though the Red Kangaroos sort of hinted at this
Now for my criticsms (I have only one)
1: Cape Barren Geese: They are exclusive to the coastal areas of Southern Australia (Including Tasmania) and wouldn't quite work, though as an alternative I will suggest the Australian Wood Duck, also known as the Maned Goose (adult male in picture). The reason I suggest that these could replace the Cape Barrens: They seem to be the only duck species allowed to be hunted in Western Australia, and only because they are declared a pest species
Just thought about it, depending on where it’s located it could use Axis Deer.
And Crocodiles, weather its the more aggressive Saltwater Crocs or the less aggressive Freshwater Crocodile (Also known as Johnstone's Crocodile and Freshies). The reason I mention freshwater crocs is partially because they can inhabit areas that saltwater crocodiles can't
I keep that in mind and I will also switch out the cape barren goose for the Australian wood duck and @summer magnet I want the map to be more of a outback like environment and axis deer in Australia normally live in woodlands and forested areas of outback environment so maybe both axis and fallow can make it

I really want more people in on this
@paper yoke any other suggestions?
The list is good
Ooo! What about Scrub Bull instead of Banteng??? It would suit the Outback aesthetic better (your choice though) from what I hear they can be pretty mean!
Should have thought about that in the first place lol. It's perfect
I think it has reached utmost perfection. Hunting Camels over a rusty setting sun and red clay is a must.
Thanks. Now we just need more up votes

I made this map Idea awhile back
https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1219280511290048582
Oh yeah. Mine's quite similar
Only mine is mostly set in north-east WA and western NT
I really hope more people see both of ours
I agree we both clearly want the same thing basically so I hope your post does well since mine never do we got to get the word out
Why’s the dingo bigger than wolves I’d say class 3 or 4
Dingoes can be aggressive towards humans at times with many recorded attacks and wolves are class 6. Dingoes weigh less but they are only a little smaller than wolves so I might change it to class 5
Where were wolves class 6 ?
Since last update.
Well I haven’t played since February
The biggest subspecies of Wolves (on average) weigh around 50 - 80 Kilos. The largest Dingoes generally weigh around 15 - 18 Kilograms, maybe 20 kilos as a stretch. They’re basically glorified foxes. I think class 3 or maybe class 4 would work for them.
I'll probably change to class 4

To ruse stubble quail is very lazy
Despite being found mostly in large numbers in Victoria. Stubble quail live in all states and territories including WA and NT where this map is set. The hunting of stubble quail is also somewhat popular there as well
Something like red bellied button quail and brown quail would have just brought some new upland game (the best game) to the game
The only problem about that is that from my research I found that quails are more prominent in Eastern and southern Australia. This map is set in the outback region of Australia where stubble quail is found. If there's anything else you want to suggest feel free to tell me
K
Is the idea good though?
I guess, not really what I want Ingame but it would definitely have it's fans may be a bit more biome variety could add a lot to the entire thing
Scrub bull could also benefit the map a lot
I added scrub bull. I hope more people upvote. I might share the idea on Reddit.
Do that
This would make a great second Australia map. Love EC but this is a little more true to what I thought of Australia

Also peacocks would be cool
I'm just saying, a lizard that big is probably worth a .22-250 bullet and decent taxidermy work
yes
Yikes
Unfortunately peacocks live mostly in NSW I believe and this is set in the outback environment of WA, SA and NT
What does naw, wa, sa and nt mean
Australian territories.

Northern Territory/NT
Western Australia/WA
South Australia/SA
Queensland/QL
New South Wales/NSW
Victoria/V
Tasmania/T
At least this is how I would think they would be referred to in a short form
