#A simple optics pack idea

We have three rifle scopes, and they've been with us the entire life of the game. They work fine, and will continue to do so.

However, more options is always a good thing so I'm posting this.

Nothing strange just gap fillers.
A 2-7x32mm, it fits neatly between the ranger and hyperion scopes for brush hunting

A 6-12x42mm scope, it fills the gap between the hyperion and Argus scopes. So it could be used on maps where shots are somewhat close but we wouldn't have to switch between scopes fir longer shots

A basic 3-9x40mm, it's just kind of the plain standard hunting scope for rifles in a lot of places.

A 4-8x40mm shotgun scope, we technically have this but it only fits the drilling so it would be nice to have another for all the shotguns.

OK, after playing a bit. The .470 needs a dedicated scope. A fixed 3x scope could make all the difference in the world for precise shooting at lions and tigers

Other than that I think we are okay. Sure some 10x40 binos would be nice but we do okay with what we have. Scope customization is a dearly wanted thing too. Maybe just add a slot to the weapon so that the scope uses what the weapon is using?

#

Oh yeah, it would be cool to change reticles. Maybe a new addition in the store offering a few different designs applied like regular cosmetics? This would be another weapon slot, so the applied reticle would stick to the weapon rather than the scope so we don't need multiple scopes for each one

We can change the reticle for the red dot, I just want a similar feature for the scopes

#

Maybe "lenses" for each scope, because I know of a few types I love that would technically be a tactical advantage, so buy lenses to switch in the scope? Like a preset for the zoom and FOV settings is the scope itself, and the lenses are the buyable customizations for what it looks like when you use said scope

It would also be cool to have a LPVO for ARs

Yes, we need a 3-9 variable 🎯

I would like a new scope with magnification for handguns too, that one we have...could be better, in looks and functionality

Yeah, kinda like that. The handguns that use the 2-4 (focoso, mangifiaco, rhino...) are more capable to effectively shoot further than the scope suggests and landing shots far away is satisfying, but the reticle doesnt help, the animals looks too small at least for me and sometimes can cause some eye strain. I dont ask for a rifle scope for handguns, but even a little better scope would help wonders.

the other reason is that I find the goshawk redeye 2-4X20 (had to look its name in-game) looks ver unappealing to me... xd

Nah, the pistol scope matches nothing at all. I just need to see some customization and colors on my scopes if I'm gonna do the rifle

You know, illuminated reticles could be a thing since already have the dot sight customization in game

Added a dedicated .470 KingDB scope to the OP

Hello Huxley Hound,

Thank you for sharing your suggestions for a new optics pack.

We appreciate your thoughtful ideas for filling the gaps between our current scopes. Introducing a 2-7x32mm scope for brush hunting, a 6-12x42mm scope for medium to long-range shots, a basic 3-9x40mm standard hunting scope, and a 4-8x40mm shotgun scope for all shotguns are great suggestions that could enhance the versatility of our current setup.

Additionally, a dedicated fixed 3x scope for the .470 could indeed improve precision when hunting larger game like lions and tigers. Your idea of adding scope customization to allow scopes to match the weapon's aesthetics is also intriguing and could add a new layer of personalization for players.

We'll pass your suggestions along to the rest of the team for consideration in future updates. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us enhance the game and provide a better experience for our players.

If you have any more ideas or feedback to share, please feel free to let us know. We're here to listen and make theHunter: Call of the Wild the best it can be.
