Twice within 10 minutes I downed two fallow deer on the awaroa both of them died where they stood and I was able to see their body through the scope but by the time I got to them to claim them they were gone the blood spatter on the ground was still there and the tracks from them walking into the area were still there, but no body and no prompt to claim, I was meaning to get rid of these animals to hope to spawn a diamond anyway so I'm not stressing about these two animals but I found it odd

no offense but uhhhhh...did they by ANY chance fall into the water ? ive "lost" quite a few bucks like this
if u have a bloodhound u can use it to search for the bloodtrail. if it fell in the water then the dog will brick completely and if u push him away by walking aggainst it it will home in on the exact position at the other side of the water. u can try to recover it this way

No sorry. I checked for that and it never made it to the water. And the bloodhound had no idea where it was either
