Community Tiger/Snow Leopard Conservation Drive

With the upcoming release of huntable endangered animals to the game, we've all seen the discussion around it being controversial.
Since it's bringing wildlife conservation into focus, I'm just wondering how EW and the wider community would feel about setting up an EW led, wildlife conservation GoFundMe-style goal?

Perhaps we could make it an annual community/social event? Choose an animal from that year's latest reserve and set up a funding goal to help protect that species?

I love this hunting game, but wildlife conversation is also a big passion of mine, and it's not like they're unrelated. Even celebrity hunters like Steve Rinella and Remi Warren emphasize how important conservation efforts are. Maybe EW could even use those old connections and bring Remi in to promote one of these funding goals?

Anyway, just an idea I thought would be nice.

This. Personally I'd be more okay with the idea of protected-IRL animals being added to the game if something like this was factored in.

Create a special Annual DLC where the proceeds go toward wildlife conservation ... doesn't have to be much ... could be something small only costing a dollar or 2 .... Of course the down side will draw more attention to the game from anti hunters who will say we are being hypocritical ....

Also a good idea, but I wonder if it would be financially viable, since the development costs wouldn't be recuperated?

Not sure about the Tax laws in Sweden but in the US they could write the dev cost off as a tax deduction ...

Nah the players understand ... And RL hunters also understand the importance of RL conservation efforts... This would just keep the heat and negative press from overreacting ....

I get it but tbh I think COTW will be okay. I think the backlash will be smaller than people fear. Anyway, it's a good idea. I'll support conservation for whatever reason.
