Almost 100% of the time I kill a black bear it’s all black with the “dusky” or “dark” fur type, I haven’t seen a black bear in maybe years that has a tan nose like they do in real life. Also when searching up a picture of a black bear 100% of the time the only pictures that show are what they actually look like with a black furry body which also needs a re-work and their tan snouts. I think this should be changed because In my opinion it just doesn’t look right and feels weird how it is right now.

Yeah I always thought this. Dusky and dark would look good with the tan snouts and it’s odd it’s not in the game

Better idea, just bring back blond and cinnamon colors with like a 20% chance. That way people can actually see them

Five minutes on Google and I've learned cinnamon bears are not rare in the slightest and have established populations from Tennessee to Colorado and all the way north into British Columbia. We should be seeing them way more, especially in SRP and Layton lakes

Apparently they are in game. But you have to be grinding to see them. I've talked to several people who've never even seen one. Annoyingly, I checked my original trophy lodge and my blond bb is gone so that's a pain.

Bring back cinnamon and blond bears!

Pretty much, but bb color morphs are not rare, just uncommon at best. Better rares would be like kermode or leucistic. Cinnamon, blond, and reddish are found all over the US and Canada. There's some standing populations of Cinnamon bears in Colorado and east to Tennessee then north into British Columbia. They're even more common in the pacific north west.

Apparently the color is a mimicry of grizzlies to avoid predation according to a handful of scientists. Others think it's just a recessive gene
