Its not so hard to realize old maps look and feel outdated.

So my suggestions is map remasters! Just updating the textures and visuals would be cool, but knowing EW they would overdeliver.

Our first victim is Hirshfelden, looking at the overall reserves Hirshfelden lacks a lot. For being the only central europe map its missing a lot of species,
First of all, expanding the map to the west to the mountains and adding species to those regions, they dont have to be new species, chamois, gray wolves, mouflons and alpine ibex

The goal is to make the reserve more unique, the additions of even more exclusive animals will help with that. Hirshfelden got done dirty as they only have one exclusive, the european bison which arent that special compared to the other bison species.

Animals that could be added are: european badger, marmots, european beavers and some kind of waterfoul found in germany like the gadwall or mandarin duck + a roe deer remaster for extra flavour ( they rlly need one tbh ).
Some animals that should also be backfilled are: common racoon, racoon dog, capercaille, brown bear, euroasian lynx, ptarmigans and black grouse

This may seem like too much but with the many W's EW has been catching it seems like a fiting way to give back to the community.

I had something typed up for remaking Hirschfelden into a true Central European reserve before deleting it off my computer, it would have been based on Germany, Poland (Where we get the Wisent), Austria, Czechia & Slovakia and its based in these last two countries that very limited brown bear hunting takes place (of course they would have to be limited to the mountains anyways).

Hopefully this is something they're planning for the future. 🤞

Remastering each map would cost the same work as creating a new one since all textures must be changed and updated, so we would have to pay again for each of them, also Hirschfelden and Layton would be paid and no longer free.
Would you be willing to pay 11.99 (New DLC price) to finance the rework?

Personally, I don't want to pay again for each one of them.

I know, but I have taken into account what Arshak said in the developers' devstream about remastering and the time, cost, and moments in which they can be done.
Basically they can only do them when we pay for them and they are included in some DLC
